Hi! I'm a student at McMaster University studying Electrical Engineering. With strong interests in hardware and software development, I am a highly motivated individual who is always looking for opportunities to expand my technical skills. Some areas of technology I'm interested in are Embedded Systems, Robotics, IoT, and Autonomous Vehicles. During my free time, I enjoy watching Netflix, playing the piano, hiking, and finding new hobbies!

A mapping device that can create a point cloud using raw distance readings and map out the surroundings in 3D. Skills: C, Microcontroller Porgramming, UART, SPI, I2C, Python, Soldering.
Google Assistant Webcam
A webcam that follows and understands sign language to help people with hearing disabilities be able to use voice assistants. Skills: Arduino Programming, Python.
Sumobot
An autonomous robot that can identify other robots and push them out of a ring. Skills: Arduino Programming, Wiring, Soldering, 3D Printing.
Smart Garbage Sorter
A garbage bin that can identify the type of garbage and place it in the correct category. Won best use of Machine Learning and AI at DeltaHacks. Skills: RaspberryPi Programming, Python.

This summer, I signed up to volunteer with Canada Learning Code. As a mentor, I am knowledgeable of the workshop content and I am available to help answer learner questions. I will be volunteering for the upcoming Ladies Learning Code Day!

Computer Chapter Vice-Chair

I first joined the McMaster IEEE Student Branch near the end of first-year after attending one of the Raspberry Pi workshops. This year I am an executive member and will be helping develop virtual workshops for students at McMaster.

Cambodia House Building & Service Trip Volunteer

In July 2017, I travelled to Cambodia with my school and the Tabitha Foundation to build houses for families living in poverty. Through fundraisers and events, my school raised over $20 000 for the Tabitha Foundation which helped us build 12 homes in Cambodia. This was a life-changing experience for me and I can't wait to visit Cambodia again! Check it out here!
